The roller coaster formally known as Red Devil at the Smoky Mountain theme park, Ghost Town in the Sky has finally reopened as Cliff Hanger after nearly 2 years of refurbishment and financial struggles.  The ride has opened with new trains from a fairly unknown company called Rotational Motion, who also refurbished all of the parks rides after it reopened from its 2002 closing in 2006.  The transformation from Red Devil to Cliff Hanger not only included new trains, but also a very striking all yellow paint job.  Perhaps the most unique quality of what would be a mediocre ride anywhere else, is the fact that the ride is perched on the side of a mountain, creating one of the most amazing locations for a roller coaster.

The opening of Cliff Hanger is a definite step in the right direction for Ghost Town, you may remember just a few months ago the park filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection, but this could be indication that that extra help is working.
