Busch Gardens Europe announced today that the legendary Arrow Suspended Coaster, Big Bad Wolf will close forever on September 7th.  The park made this annoucement so early, according general manager, John Reilly, to allow fans to “ride one last time before it closes after Labor Day.” Big Bad Wolf opened in 1984 as the world’s first suspended coaster. I was 2800 feet long and featured a 100 foot lift hill followed by an 80 foot plunge into the Rhine River, reaching speeds of up to 48 mph.
