Curse of DarKastle

Curse of DarKastle is a world class dark ride at Busch Gardens Europe that combines 3D technology with excellent story telling.  Similar to the Amazing Adventures of Spiderman, guest travel on motion vehicles that react to every which way.

The designers for this ride wanted to create a ride where both thrill seekers and families can enjoy.  I think that the park did a beyond exceptional job at achieving this.  Clearly though, this kind of quality is found at Busch Gardens Europe and not Busch Gardens Africa in Tampa Bay Florida.

What do you think about the ride.  Leave your comments and park thoughts!

Sounds and looks like a cool attraction.

However, I would like to comment that Busch Gardens Africa in Tampa Bay does just an equal job on providing for both families and thrill seekers… it isn’t like they are two different companies.

While BGA tends to be more geared to thrill-seekers, I have been there plenty of times and know that BGA offers a wide selection of family attractions, from Pirates 4-D to Jungala, and Cheetah Chase to Rhino Rally and the Safari Train, and more.

BGA lacks a dark ride all together. Rhino Rally doesn’t meet the need of thrill seekers. Pirates 4 D is a cheap 4D show. I am talking about a ride that truly thrill seekers and families can really enjoy. That is something a wild mouse can’t do.

I get that… yes, our BG doesn’t have a Dark Ride, but… it appeals to both thrill seekers and families.

^The park has a whole does. But that is understandable because it is like double the size as Busch Gardens Europe. Therefore they can put it more attractions while at BGE you have to be more selective and they created an attraction that apeals to both.

It looks cool, but I couldn’t help but feel the ballroom scene stole something from HM. The whole “ghosts ballroom dancing” is original to Disney…maybe I’m just being weird again.

On no, Ryan I definitely agree with you there.
