Alan, I am well aware of that. I actually have a part 3 in the works of just plants. The park is more then a theme park, it is a unique part of nature that is under appreciated.

This is particularly interesting to me--seeing Bonfante (Gilroy) Gardens viewed from the perspective of somebody without special ties to the park.

Those special ties to the park of mine though make me feel depressed that you only touched on the rides and failed to mention the actual reason for creating the park (and, if you wanted to go the extra mile you could've touched on the four Learning Sheds [Haha]). Michael Bonfante sold his Nob Hill Food chain to create this theme park in his back yard to feature the "Circus Trees" that were created by Axel Erlandson (noted on the Sky Trail, but with a mispronounced last name [not "Air-land-son" ... "Er-lund-son"]). Anyway, Mr. Bonfante liked the trees and wanted them to be preserved since they're a one-time wonder--nobody else has been able to craft trees into such impressive figures before; and it's a secret how Axel made them.

So anyway, yeah, this park isn't meant for the thrill seekers, but it's to showcase Axel Erlandson's magnificent creations (many which are missed lining the entrance on both sides--my favorite, I think, might be the Revolving Door). There are tame rides for families, but, without the huge rides, the park doesn't get that group of teenagers who are there just for the thrills, which lets young children have a safe environment to enjoy rides more their style.

Still, I'm impressed this park got noted--good job!
