We were really thrilled. This mega park is something that deserves close scrutiny. The author made an axcellent point when questioning if this could be built with the budget suggested. I grew up with a contractor and I can attest to the fact costing out even small remodel jobs and building homes can be a situation where folks can and do grossly underestimate the actual costs of construction. The fact Marlin Atlantis White is the developer also gave me pause.I came upon that company while blogging about a silly water MLM in my hometown of Dallas. This Evolv miracle water was being sued by the world renowned MD Anderson Cancer Center and was headed up by none other than Trey White. It turns out that clown is the chairman of Marlin Atlantis. He is a fake multi-billionaire and has exaggerated his business acumen. As I am sure everyone has guessed, he is not on Forbes list of billionaires. There is lots of info about this on Realscam.com for anyone wanting to read more.Marlin Atlantis has done some residential communities with mostly small starter homes in the 100s. I am not aware that Marlin Atlantis has done any significant commercial developments. I hope the investors and tax payers are checking this all out.

I remember in 2007 planning a future trip there when it was just going to be a great little “Dino Don” dinosaur museum.
