Six Flags Great Adventure announced that they will be adding a new slide to their increasingly popular water park.  Next year, the park will introduce Tonrado, a ProSlide Tornado model.

The Tornado can be found at several other Six Flags chained water parks across the nation.  Riders enter 4 person rafts, and do a few turns before dropping into the 60 foot funnel.  Seeing that is has proven popular at the other water parks, Six Flags Great Adventure finally decided to bring it to their parks.   The Tornado model has become one of ProSlide’s most popular models and it has good reason.

So watch out for those who visit Six Flags Great Adventure because you are in for a splashin’ good time.

About time… we haven’t gotten a new slide since the water park opened in 2001.

Wow! Really? Haha, we got ours a year after our water park opened. The slide is really short though. You go really steep which is awesome and really high one more time. The friction on it is really big so you only last like 7 seconds.
