One of the top roller coasters on the planet, Eagle Fortress will be closing down forever. Located in one of South Korea’s most popular theme parks, Everland, Eagle Fortress is a Arrow Suspended coaster that opened in 1992. What made Eagle’s Fortress unique was it’s train conforming track that wined through the landscape only hopping over the tree line a few times. Eagle Fortress was also voted one of the top 5 coasters several times.
While the coaster is certainly great, it has been plagued with issues in it’s recent years. Eagle Fortress has been closed since at least Summer of last year. Everland, the park, has states that the main issue for not correcting the complications with the coaster is an ‘economic crisis’. Unfortunately the coaster, is now has been listed as ‘demolition confirmed’. A date has not yet been chosen.
