A Kings Island trial will be held on Thursday, October 15th for an incident that happened on Son of Beast. The weird part is, it was from 2006! She claims to have the need for hip replacements every couple of years and wants Kings Island to pay all the fees and bills.
Their have been 5 other cases on the same incident, but all of them have been dismissed besides this one. I am not sure what to think of this, she waited too long for me to win this case.
Son of Beast has been standing but not operating since mid-summer 2009. Although has been re-tracked in the 2006 season, which involved removing the loop, replacing the old trains, and slowing down the ride. It will remain closed for the rest of the season, and the ride’s status for next year is still unknown.
What are your thoughts of the upcoming trial? How about the coaster itself? Leave a comment below with your Park Thoughts! Thanks for reading!
This is one of Six Flag’s 2 interactive dark rides. The other at Fiesta Texas, also themed to Scooby-Doo and the game.
You first wait through a very well swamp-like queue. Scary trees, shrubs, mist, all make you very excited. The station starts outside, but then goes into a building that is also very well blocked off. The whole ride takes place in a mansion like building, that is haunted. What is your goal? To collect all the Scooby Snacks you can.
You board the ride on a boat, and have laser-guns to shoot targets. All of which are interactive and have some type of domino effect after shooting. Boxes of Scooby Snacks are hidden all over the layout of the ride, some of which are right next to monsters. This is a great family ride that seats 4, and is definitely a good way to have fun with your family. Trying to shoot all the targets with lots of sound effects to be the champion!

Rumors also have it that all the other parks with the Scooby Doo ride will get their’s re-themed with Snoopy and all his friends, such as Carowinds.
For the 2011 season, Six Flags Inc. will add major attractions to most, maybe all, Six Flags parks. Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom’s has already been announced. Pretty good, worth taking out Chang for. Bonzai Beach will be the next expansion to the water park facility.
There have been no releases of what will become of Chang, rumors say a 2011 expansion...
Steel Venom. When you look at it, it looks like your classic Intamin Invert Impulse coaster. But really, in some way it is, in some way it is not.
I decided to sit in the front, trying to get the best ride possible. The launch was pretty sweet, the wind, the speed and all that. But going up into the twisted...
Rivers outside of Six Flags Over Georgia have risen and have flooded Six Flags over Georgia in Austell, Georgia Monday. Half the park remains underwater and plans on opening Saturday, a week before the Fright Fest season starts.
Great American Scream Machine remains under water after Monday’s flood. If this part of the park is still under water, it will remain...
Falling Star at Michigan’s Adventure in Michigan is a common flat ride that provides plenty of airtime. The ride goes over a series of cycles where they sway in a circular motion, creating a sense of lift out of your seat. While it may be small, Falling Star is located in front of a fountain making it a beautiful sight.
