Cedar Point has set up several Web Cams over the year and one of them looms high above the rest of the park. When the fog rolled in one morning, it set a beautiful picture of Cedar Point. Covering the lower portion of the park, it makes the park seems like it is literally jumping out of the clouds. It almost looks like roller coaster heaven.
Mantis, Tower of Power, Wicked Twister, and a few other coasters can be seen jumping from the clouds. What a spectacular sight. The park’s Ohio location is one of the best for any theme park. Cedar Point is nestled on a strip of land extending out from the coastline into one of the Great Lakes. It provides for spectacular views on some of taller attractions and I can only imagine how it would feel to ride Millenium Force or Top Thrill Dragster in this fog.

Look what King’s Island just posted to their YouTube Channel. Looks like some lucky Ohio residents will start to hear this catchy tune in commericals, radio ads, and more with this new Kings Island anthem. “The Fun and Only” may be a marketing success with the new Planet Snoopy area opening up and him being the new park mascot. Go ahead and listen, you know it’s catchy. Leave a comment with your park thoughts below. =]
With just a couple months left till opening day, Kings Island is working hard on transforming their Nickelodeon Universe themed area into the new for 2010 Planet Snoopy. It looks like almost everything is getting a fresh coat of paint from the rides to the gift shops. From the photos, it looks like “Runaway Reptar” is getting the same orange supports and yellow track as Carowinds’ version and the classic kiddie wooden coaster formally named “airly Odd Coaster” is getting a bright blue paint job to replace its previously faded purple.
