Talon POV

Posted on August 7, 2009 in Uncategorized by

Dorney Park’s Talon looks like a super intense B&M invert that features  agreat variety of elements, manuevers, and drops.  The ride consists of a several inversions, hills and what makes this one stand out is the low to the ground elements.  I can only imagine how insane it would be to ride a B&M Invert’s hard core helixes feeling as...

Disney’s Electrical Parade Photos

Disney’s Electrical Parade is the beloved, classic parade that currently runs at Disney’s California Adventure Park and serves as the park’s nighttime spectacular.  Between the bright lights and electro synth magnetic musical sounds, it is easily my favorite all time parade.  For this year’s Summer Nightastic, the park added a new lead float starring Tinkerbell, brought back the Dwarf Mine...

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk to ReImagine a Classic

Posted on August 6, 2009 in News by

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk is one of the last remaining sea side amusement parks on the west coast. However, they do continue the legacy of these beach side boardwalks by constantly adding new attractions and shows every few years. Recently the park opened Sea Swings, a Wave Swinger with artwork that pays tribute to the park’s history. Next year the park...

Awesome Animation

Pony Express

Pilgrim’s Plunge

S&S Junior Coaster

Insanity the ride

Mystery Mine

Carowinds has pretty much been the center of attention on Park Thoughts this week, and we have even more news to bring you. 3 peices of Red B&M track, which appears to be brake run, are now sitting in the park’s overflow parking lot next to Thunder Road. The really isn’t much of a surprise, because the speculation all along was that...

More clues point to name “White Lightning”

Posted on August 4, 2009 in News by

If the leaked logo and the phrase “Lightning Really Does Strike Twice” on the teaser at the park aren’t enough to prove that Carowinds 2010 addition will be named “White Lightning,” this certainly will. It was pointed out that http://www.whitelightning.carowinds.com/ is now displaying an “Under  Constuction” message. I’m not really sure what the Windows logo being cut out of a wall...

Battle of the Dark Rides!

Busch Gardens and Universal Studios are two parks that provide world class experiences and each compete with Disney in terms of theming.  Busch Gardens Europe and Universal Orlando’s Islands of Adventure each provide a dark ride that combines motion vehicles, elaborate sets, and 3D imagery to create illusions and effects that no other dark ride can...
