My nephew works at Kentucky Kingdom and he said by 2012, they will be a Water Park Only. They will be moving all thrill rides out. Which is good, because Kentucky Kingdom is a crap hole.

I have been waiting for my kids to get tall enough to ride Chang and now they are taking it away. I thought they should have replaced Mile High Falls and Twisted Twins with a coaster instead of removing the best coaster they have….Kingdom has lost 4 season passes…I guess I will be visiting Kings Island more than once a year now. SFKK really screwed up…No wonder they have filed bankrupty…

The water park brings in more money then the theme park. They would be better in investing in a water park expansion then keeping this stand up coaster.

Surprised they didn’t do it earlier??? Why???

This is the dumbest thing I’ve ever heard of – tearing down a ride that operates from the season opener until closing in the fall, to build another water themed thing that only operates for 3 months during the whole season. Chang was the only good thing that SFKK had going for it now – T2 feels like it’s falling apart, they’ve had Mile High Falls and Twisted Twins “SBNO” for at least 2 years, they lost the Superman Tower of Power because somebody screwed up and didn’t do their maintenance checks thoroughly…..shall I go on???
