You either have a wristband or a card with a bar code loaded with “points”. You then scan it each time you ride a ride. However, you can’t use it to buy food or other items. Another cool thing Mall of America does is that they have boxes where you can dropped your cards with unused points, and they’ll donate them to kids that visit the park with illnesses and such. Such a great use instead of throwing them out.

It will be interesting to see if this pays off in the end for Waldameer.
