I live in England as some people on the lounge may know. I watched roller coaster programmes saying how they built it and how they work and stuff like that. I had 3 coasters which a wanted to ride, Millenium Force, Riddlers Revenge and this, i wanted to ride this as it looks interesting and i have never riden a arrow corkscrew coaster.

FlowJo, I assume they’re closing the ride mid-season so that they have time to dismantle it and build the new attraction (assuming it’s Chang) before the park opens for the 2011 season.

rode it once, that was enough for me… I smashed my ear on the OTS restraints going through one of the loops, and it was numb for a long time afterwords. Also the trim was weird because you barely made it off the trim and nearly stalled on the batwing, but you still flew through the corkscrews pretty fast. I just hope SFGAdv does more with chang than throw it there and not theme it or anything.

The middle of the season seems like a weird date to close a ride. But, okay, I will have to go back sometime before that date again, maybe even on the 18th. I did like GASM, but if Chang really does come to Great Adventure, it would be awesome! It looks much better than GASM and I am sure a lot of people (including myself) would prefer it over the Scream Machine.
