Having been to the original LEGOLAND in Carlsbad, California, I will say that these parks are definitely geared towards a very young crowd.  And often times these new parks will open up very small.

Fortunately LEGOLAND Florida will be a “new-old” park, meaning that most all the infrastructure and several major attractions are already in place.  This gives the Floridian park a huge jump start.  From the get-go, Florida’s Legoland will have more coasters than the original Carlsbad park.  But, 3 of the 4 Legoland Florida coasters were already built on property and just require retheming.

In the future, expect the Florida park to be vastly superior to all other LEGOLAND’s built prior.
