It’s an obvious move to combat Wizarding World. To be honest, I find it rather disappointing that the Walt Disney World would copy Universal so blatantly. Universal was the first to bring to life a major film franchise in a “underperforming” theme park, and now Walt Disney World does the exact same thing.

Avatar could be cool, but the franchise isn’t nearly as huge as the world of Harry Potter. But let’s hope that Avatar at least is able to compete with Wizarding World (I was amazed with how high quality Wizarding World was).

While it’s not necessarily an “animal theme”, it does have a natural theme to it, and if it were to be in any Disney park, it would honestly fit best in Animal Kingdom. Here’s to hoping it’s really awesome, and perhaps brings another roller coaster.
