In 2010, Sea World San Diego will welcome a new show from its cousin in Orlando Florida.  Blue Horizons, a stage show that features several acrobatics and stunts will be added to the park’s already long list of incredibly long entertainment offerings.  Opening in May of 2010, this new show will be done on a huge stage.  Featuring a brand new stage, and new stunts never done before, this show is sure to be a hit among guests.

Blue Horizons is a dramatic show that features live actors, live animals, and breath taking music.  Along with a great story, Blue Horizons is unique as it features action both above and below the surface of the water.  Divers and dolphins will dance in the water as acrobats in dazzling and colorful costumes soar above the audience.  Exotic birds will take flight in this show along with other wild life.

Blue Horizons will replace the current show, Dolphin Discovery.  Since its debut in 1996, the audience has been amazed with the tricks these dolphins get to perform.  From personal experience, when I saw the show in 2008, I was amazed with some of the aierels these dolphinhs do and would have never guessed it was so old.  After one of the longest runs in the parks history, Dolphin Discovery will soon close down to make way for the new show.

So do you think this is the smart choice.  Leave your comments and park thoughts!
