(you can also see Bomb Bay, the speed slide)
While Wet ‘n Wild’s landscaping and scenery do not rival that of Disney’s water park, their slides are much more impressive than Disney’s water slides. Brain Wash, my favorite water slide at Wet ‘n Wild, is a totally themed slide, making the experience better than on a regular run-of-the-mill water slide. Brain Wash is a Tornado slide, but the whole slide, including the funnel, is covered and indoors.
Riders enter the slide on their 4-person tubes. The mouth of the slide is gigantic (the station is outdoors), and creepy music can be heard coming from the inside. As you go straight, you see a brain light up above you as you pass. The music gets louder as bright strobe lights suddenly light up a brightly-striped slide. The current gets faster, and suddenly riders plunge into the funnel. Riders experience a high-pipe experience, until they go through the hole in the bottom of the funnel, around the light trap, and into the bright Florida sun.
This is by far my favorite water slide, and you must ride this when visiting Wet ‘n Wild. The only pain is you must carry your own tube up to the top of the tower. Here is a great POV of the slide.
