Demon Drop at Dorney Park?

Well this is a turn of events, it looks like Demon Drop, Cedar Point’s 1st-generation Freefall ride, that many of us believed would be heading to Knott’s Berry Farm for 2010, has now mysteriously arrived in Dorney Park’s parking lot.

While there’s no confirmation that this is indeed Demon Drop, it certainly looks like it. It makes just as much since (not much) that Dorney Park would get this ride as it did for Knott’s Berry Farm, as they both already have S&S Combo Towers, but I guess the ride experiences are slightly different, and the general public won’t even question it.

Hey, I wouldn’t have to go as far to ride it as if it went to KBF or even stayed at CP, so it’s good. And remember, CP has 4 S&S Towers so the move to a park with only 2 makes sense to me.

maybe there storing it at dorney?idk i think it will add alot more to dorney if it is indeed placed there.

well they did just get rid of laser and there is a lot more room now.

One thing to say – YES. I was looking forward to riding “Demon Drop” at Cedar Point, and when they announced it was going to Knott’s I was really dissapointed because I wouldn’t be going there for a while, so now I can finally ride a 1st-gen and its only a few hours away!
