Carowinds surprised fans today by releasing a full list of rides names for the Nickelodeon Central retheme to Planet Snoopy, becoming the first of the five Paramount/Cedar Fair Park’s to do so. Here’s the rundown of all of the renames announced:

Well it is official, Planet Snoopy has been announced for all 5 former Paramount Parks. Each park has announced it on there website, besides Kings Island who announced, then removed it from their website a few days later. So why is Cedar Fair spending all of this money on there parks to retheme large areas? Royalty fees.

Its official, California’s Great America, quietly broke the news on its event page that they will be adding Planet Snoopy in 2010. Opening in March, I assume opening day, the entire Nickelodean Central and Hanna-Barbera area will be transformed or Snoopyfied into a great new childrens land that features all of your favorite Charlie Brown Characters.
